How Not to Be the Next Data Breach: Protecting Your Scholar Data

Presenter:

David Brown, Senior Vice President, Information Technology at the Daniels Fund

Cost:

Free to NSPA members. $35 for non-members.

Description:

We live in a world where major security breaches, massive record losses, and ransomware fill the newspapers with sickening consistency. A world in which Fortune 500 companies and powerful government agencies fall prey with seemingly little resistance. As scholarship providers, we have a duty to protect the private data that students and their families entrust to us. Come learn practical and economical steps that you can take back to the office that will immediately begin adding the protections that our scholars need.
